UX/UI - Alcatel Lucent (Nokia)

Alcaltel Lucent (now Nokia) is a global telecommunications equipment company that designs and maintains vast networking services. My time at Alcatel had me working with the UX team on the 5620 Service Aware Manager (SAM) division.

During this time, the team was tasked with designing a new, modern interface to replace the outdated versions.  We decided on using Google’s Material Design as our framework, because it was the best option for our goal to create a more consistent and intuitive user experience.

I helped design mockups, figure out interactions for different functions, develop icons and graphics, and to develop the design guideline document for the developers. This was a interesting project because of the vast intricacies of the functions of this application and the need to account for a number of different users and their different needs.
